Fullerene
Fullerene has received attention for a lot of applications, such as drug delivery, fuel cells, superconductors, medicine and cosmetics, it is important to have its aqueous colloidal solutions. It is well known that fullerene is soluble in numerous organic solvents, but insoluble in water. In spite of very low solubility in water (solubility ≈ 1.3 x 10-13 μg/L), C60 has spontaneously forms stable nano-sized aggregates in water by solvent exchange method. By controlling of power of ultra-sonication, we successfully fabricated nano-C60 aggregates with different sizes. Further, we investigated the size-dependent cytotoxicity effect of water-soluble C60 aggregates on HaCaT, HepG2 and A549 cells in culture.

Graphene
Graphene is carbon nanostructure which was formed on two-dimension structure. Graphene has remarkably high electron mobility at room temperature, because it is planer sheet of sp2-bonded carbon atoms. In addition to this, graphene appears thermal conductivity, mechanical properties and optical properties. In order to improve properties of nanomaterials, they have often been used to nanocomposite. These concepts also can apply to graphene, also. In graphene's case, we combine with metal/metal oxide nanomaterials on graphene. It is able to use by semiconductor, capacitor and rechargeable battery electrode.
